There's no reason this has to be private. In fact, it shouldn't be. It's
writing an open source wrapper for an open source library.

Also, can you please tone down the corporate speak. This is an engineering
list.

It's a very minimal amount of work to add a wrapper on my part, for something
likely useful; no thanks needed.

... What? There already exists code to add it to Libav, and it would be maybe
40 minutes of work for me to finish it. This is a tiny effort, and does not
require more than one person. Since it seems nothing has been done internally,
I will write and submit it tomorrow (I am in GMT, so it is night here right now).
I'm not going to waste my time doing corporate style convoluted
too-many-people-for-one-task "coordination"... There's no who does what, just
who writes it.

Patches will show up tomorrow on ffmpeg-devel and libav-devel for review.
