I would like to profile x265 with lttng by using -finstrument-functions
but when I add it to CXX flags I get the following when linking,
Linking CXX executable x265
/usr/bin/cmake -E cmake_link_script CMakeFiles/cli.dir/link.txt --verbose=1
/usr/bin/c++ -finstrument-functions -O3 -DNDEBUG

I tried using |-finstrument-functions-exclude-file-list= with the
intrinsic headers and everything in source/common/vec but I get the same
results. Any help would be greatly appreciated.
thanks,
