It certainly builds on my machine, with the below in `$ANDROID_NDK/source.properties`:

    Pkg.Desc = Android NDK
    Pkg.Revision = 12.1.2977051

No matter the outcome I have the patch applied locally and will continue using
it until I notice something breaking. I will let you know if such breakage occur
(I should definitely find out during this weekend given that I plan to work on a
few bugs that show up on android/winrt, in regards of libvlc, but not on
desktop).
