Sorry, about the new thread for this patch, I joined the mailing list
so I could respond to this message.

The patch as stated in the original message fixes one that only shows
itself when writing the files.

If someone can find/point me towards a different fix, I would gladly
look into it.

As of right now, I am not aware of a simpler solution, or more
correct, to the issue.
