After hours of compiling and testing :
ffmpeg with faac and amr_nb support.
transcoding and streaming h263video or mpeg4 video with AAC
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* can play with QTPlayer on windows
* only video on realplayer symbian OS (player complains about sound is not
readable)
transcoding and streaming h263video or mpeg4 video with AMR narrow band
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
* can play with QTPlayer on windows with horrible sound
* can play on Realplayer symbian OS but sound is unaudible (like volume =
0) (player doesn't complain about sound)
Note that AMR is transcodable only with these settings : samplerate=8000 ,
channels=1 . So you can turn into trouble for transcoding some sound format
with 2 channels (eg wma2 ). And this makes impossible to have good sound
using amr.
Any suggests are welcome !
