What does PIM-SMM stand for. Is it a typo ?
AFAIK, you need IGMP v3 to be able to use PIM-SSM, IGMP v2 should be
good for PIM-SM

Make sure you set an appropriate TTL. If not specified, the OS open uses
a TTL of 1 for the multicast traffic. Use the --ttl 12 option, for
instance, on server side.
