   It's not that simple. There are streams without an audio track, or
there are streams where the audio clock isn't in sync with the input
clock (a network stream for instance). Also, there are cases where
resampling the audio is necessary (when the soundcard's frequency
doesn't match the stream's).

   No, but it's an option worth considering.
