[vlc-devel] Re: Removing duplicated DVD input modules.

Previously it was suggested the possibility of removing the dvdplay
plugin (which appears to be an unmaintained), and favoring the dvdnav
plugin which currently may need more work.

I put out a query and/or plea for help in the dvdnav mailing list
(dvd-devel at lists.sourceforge.net).  Three well-qualified people, James
Courtier-Dutton, and Michael Roitzsch and Mathieu Lacage, offered to
help either via their mailing list or their IRC: #dvdnav on
irc.freenode.net. The dvd-devel mailing has the details.

It looks however like the initiative for improving vlc's dvdnav has to
come from the vlc side.
