[vlc-devel] Re: unofficial vlc 0.8.0 rpms for FC2, RH9 and RHEL3

Yes I do have the headers for vlc 0.8 and I did do a yum clean and yum
update except I get the following dependency errors:

package gstreamer-plugins needs libFLAC.so.4 (not provided)
package gstreamer-plugins needs libdvdnav.so.0 (not provided)
package gstreamer-plugins needs libfame-0.9.so.0 (not provided)
package mozilla-psm needs mozilla = 38:1.5-2.rh90.dag (not provided)
package mozilla-psm needs mozilla-nss = 38:1.5-2.rh90.dag (not provided)

I guess it looks like I am missing some other rpms which I'll have to
update. Also, it looks like yum and apt-get don't always install the
latest versions, and I have to hunt it down myself and install manually.
