I haven't tested DV a lot, but livdv was very slow ...
Anyway:
> avi warning: cannot skip packet, track disabled
it means that the AVI is broken/truncated or at least VLC demuxer think so.
(It's the case for the first 2 files)
For the 3rd file, it seems that you do not have enough power to decode
it realtime (or a slow hardrive).
