I think that if we start working on the formating of the subtitles ( and
it's muchneeded), we should design it properly and have at least bold,
italic, underlined + colors. Else it looks like a hack to use the
features of only one subtitles format.

So I like better your idea of defining a FOURCC and proper marker for
formating and escaping if needed.
