Err, the MacOS X UI has been using #rtp for a while (at least before 
this thread started). Qt4 has never had streaming support, and 
WxWidgets has been updated if needed be.

Since you cannot use 0.8.6 GUI on top of 0.9.0 core due to ABI change, 
this is a non-issue.
