It is usability challenged, because there is way too many stuffs that
VLC can do... :D

Anyway, jokes aside, I don't recall refusing to improve any dialog in
Qt4, and I will do it with great motivation if I am clearly told what
should I do...

My streaming usage of VLC is very simple and usually limited to HTTP or
MMS,

  I will propose a new Sout panel using lifts for 1.0, btw.
