Hi Sebastien,
I think we'll do one more release of gui/macosx and release the result
of the Lunettes project somewhere after 1.1... But Lunettes is growing
pretty fast and it's now possible to hope that we could only maintain
1.0 and release Lunettes as vlc 1.1. Hope but still.
I'll merge your patches asap.
I don't think there is much to do around gui/macosx, it is easy to
fix. Especially given that we didn't diverge much. I personally think
that the "new" interface in gui/macosx is sort of a regression.
I think we should encourage every motivated developers to help us on
the Lunettes side. We could largely use some more hands if we want to
release soon!
That said, some part of gui/macosx should be revived. I am thinking
about the dialog part, that has to be extracted and made into an extra
interface module, available to libvlc users. (and vlc/Lunettes).
