Well, if you don't mean to be rude, the fact is that you are ! 

As for this problem, it is a real regression that one could expect to
see  solved for the 1.0 release. 

Now, if you're the expert, please, do go ahead and solve it instead of
complaining about nobody caring for Windows. The solution is simple. It
just has to be inserted into the right place (Design makes the place
less obvious!)
