[vlc-devel] Idea For SoC

Here is the brief Description of the Project I like to be added to the list
of VideoLan SoC projects

*VLC Toolbar Mode :*
Features:
1.A mode of VLC QT UI [Minimode is best suited for base UI]
2.Having Basic controls[play pause seek etc.]
3.*1 Diemnsional Visualisations [as the interface will be a thin strip
..showing 1-D visalisation based on Equalizer settings can effectively
replace the 2-D visualisations.AFAIK this is new concept and i have not seen
in any other player]...can also be a separate project
4.Automatic Docking with the taskbar {will need hacking for different
platforms}
many other innovative features can be thought of, to integrate in this mode.

A Patch post earlier gives the basic idea of the project.
