Is it written somewhere that I should run "make distcheck" before
sending a patch that modifies the build system?
It may be obvious for you and other developers but it was not the case
for me, sorry. I am certainly unskilled but I have never read that in
any VideoLAN's documentation.

"bullshit"? Do you think I spent two days trying to find a fix without
any success for the great pleasure of loosing my time?
I did not even write the build system parts of my patches. I tried to
read some auto* documentation but it was Chinese to me.

Did I blame you for something? Have I already blame you for anything?

You can blame me for being unqualified and not being able to achieve
trivial tasks. However, it is unfair to blame me for not caring about
the wrong code I merged despite what you were explained.

Actually, I can't put up with these accusations and your lack of
understanding. I no longer want to be directly involved in a project
where my lack of skills (or care according to you) is an issue.
I am here officially asking to the admins for the permanent removal of
my commit access on vlc.git.
Feel free to ask for the reversal of the commits to the people that care
about Chromecast support.

Best regards,
