Thank you very much for replying. I’ve tried downloading and running VLC 3.0 and 2.2.2 for OS X.
Unfortunately, VLC 3.0 doesn’t support any language (for now, at leasT) and VLC 2.2.2 for OS X includes all the old (and wrong) Portuguese translations. There are no changes.

What can I do?
