yes -- significantly, in fact.  unfortunately, until i have time to hack an
"average fps", the only thing i can tell you is "the number in the right
hand corner never goes below 100/10" with mtrr's set up.  without them, it
can get as low as 70/10.

(i assume these numbers mean 10 frames a sec and 7 frames a sec?)

subjectively, the movie is smoother and there's less jitter.

enlightenment is a _hog_.  i run quantum simulations on my home computer
(i'm a physics grad student).  enlightenment devastates my program's run
time.  (this is straight enlightenment; not gnome/enlightenment).
