Anyone got vlc working Solaris/sparc

Hi,

Has any one ever got vlc working on Solaris/UltraSparc
platform?

Even with the latest vlc-0.2.71, I got Segmentation
Fault with both PS(program stream) and TS(transport
stream) files played from the disk.

Any inputs would be very much appreciated.

p.s.  I used the following configure option:

  % configure  --disable-dsp  --enable-stats
