overlay and colorkey

Hi,

question: Is there something like a color key for
overlay mode? I read something about this on the
xine mailing lists. When you use overlay, some colors
of other applications on the desktop can get
messed up. The reason is that the messed up
colors are used for overlay.
Xine offers the possibility to change a 'colorkey'
such that other colors are used for overlay.

In fact, I have precisely this problem, and hence
I would like to know whether vlc offers a similar
feature.
