Not really. The bottleneck here is the video output. X11 is slowest, SDL
middle ground and XVideo the best. Unfortunately, XVideo support is not
there for all cards. On my RH-7.1 box, running XFree86-4.0.3, my Voodoo3 has
no XVideo support. But on my Slack 8 box, running XFree86-4.10, the Voodoo3
is supported.
So the best advice I can give is find out whoever's maintaining the TNT2
cards over at XFree86, and ask him if XVideo support will be in the next
XFree86 release.
