vlc on RH71 on Dell C600

Hi all,

I've just upgraded to vlc 0.2.90 on my Dell Latitude C600 (700Mhz) running
RedHat 7.1 with kernel version 2.4.5 and it runs great. I had some problems
with the performance of 0.2.8x but this one runs verry smooth. It's too bad
that interlaced movies look so bad. Are there any plans to add a
de-interlacer in the near future?
