You (Orsila Heikki) asked me to try the preferences menu in the GTK+ vlc
from the video window. It crashed.
Here's what appeared from the command:
vlc dvd:/dev/hdc --aout_format 4 --rate 48000 -vvvvvvvvvvvvvvv
It was:
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkobject.c: line 1081 (gtk_object_get_data):
assertion `key != NULL' failed.
** WARNING **: Widget not found: (null)
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkobject.c: line 1081 (gtk_object_get_data):

** WARNING **: Widget not found: (null)
Gtk-WARNING **: invalid cast from (NULL) pointer to `GtkObject'
Gtk-CRITICAL **: file gtkobject.c: line 1079 (gtk_object_get_data):

Segmentation fault
