Hello vlc-developers,

i am sorry; the vlc-segmentation-fault was not your problem.

I installed the vlc-Debian-Packages from the videolan-Homepage (0.2.92-1)
=> vlc is up&running :-)

So i will send this problem-report to the maintainer of the debian-packet (0.2.92-5).

Thanks

Johann Hoeckner

Subject: Segmentation fault with vlc 0.2.92

Hello vlc-developers,

i have the following problem with vlc (the debian-packet vlc 0.2.92-5):
if i try to play the German DVD 'Die Mumie kehrt zurück' (the German Localisation of 'The Mummy returns'), vlc crashes with a segmentation fault.

I have also tried 2 other DVD's ('Taxi' & 'The Mummy') => the same Problem).

I will append the last 50 Lines of 'strace vlc dvd:/dev/dvd > xxx 2>&1' to this mail.

Maybe you can help me ?

thanks,

Johann Hoeckner

(the nanosleep-Messages are coming after the crash; until i kill the task with 'killall vlc' => then comes the SIGTERM-Signal)
