vlc-mad and vlc-gui

You have to install all the rpms at the same time, ie do

rpm -Uvh vlc-0.4.1-1mdk.i586.rpm vlc-mad-0.4.1-1mdk.i586.rpm \
vlc-gnome-0.4.1-1mdk.i586.rpm

Mandrake users can use urpmi to avoid this problem.
