Yes, that would be perfect for me -- And pseudo-surround for others with 4 (or more
?) real speakers...

I just checked 4 different movies: The sound comes mostly from Front-Left and
Back-Right, the other 2 speakers are almost quiet. And that's all 4 movies...
With BSPlayer (my only reference so far...) the sound is fairly centered.
I'm using ac3filter (from sourceforge: http://ac3filter.sourceforge.net/ ), to play back
AC3 in BSPlayer... he (or his source) might be helpful...

I enabled it, but it probably just works, when plugged in as 'main' speakers...
(I'd love if that effect gets to the 'rear', too... ;-)
