[vlc] vlc and vod

Hello,

I am having problems with using the video on deman capabilities of vlc.
According to the documentation it should be enough to place the mpeg files
on the webserver, and then stream them for example with the command:
vlc http://mycomputer.hut.fi/something.mpg

When I tried this the result was only a black video screen.

By using the following command:
vlc -vvv http://mycomputer.hut.fi/something.mpg >& log
I managed to get quit a few errors, but I'm having difficuldies in
determing the source of the problem.

The log file can be read at:
http://www.hut.fi/u/tatoivon/log

I tried to play them locally, and it played fine.
