So, I need that same library package... I did not know that there was no
icon for vlc that appeared on the Zaurus's desktop

Is there a way to get an vlc icon (the cone) on the Zaurus to execute vs
from the kconole?

On the konsole is get the following error message when vlc is executed...
vlc: error while loading shared libraries: librt.so.1: cannot load shared
object file: No such file or directory
