[vlc] Re: MPEG4 in MPEG2-TS

I can only answer to your Q2:
there's RFC3640 (e.g.
http://www.faqs.org/rfcs/rfc3640.html)
Until now I had no answer from the vlc developers if
they strictly followed this standard during the
implementation.
