Hi, maybe someone can help with that, like I say in another message, I'm
using vlc for get stream from a mms source and relay it to other people
with vlc output... I got 2 problem, I'm using wmp for read the stream,
I see the feed vlc send is in http, and take alot of bandwith of a mms, a
mms for a 20kbps stream, take 20.9-22kbps, vlc stream in http, and it take
like 20-35 kbps... maybe if I stream with udp it will be better, but can wmp
read udp?
Second problem, I got alot of "lost packet" but not from the "reader", it
seem the problem is between vlc and mms stream, I try to put a
mms-caching=3000 but always lost sound... maybe I'm doing something bad?
I launch vlc like that:
vlc --mms-caching=3000 mms://... --sout
'#std{access=mmsh,mux=asf,url=...}' --novideo -I http &
