[vlc] Problem with HD playback

Hello,

Are the clips at http://download.videolan.org/pub/videolan/streams/
meant to highlight and help fix problems with VLC? Or can they be
used as sample clips for playback in VLC?

I am trying to playback the HDTV-sample.mpg file from the above
location. I am using VLC 0.7.2 on WinXP and I get only a black 
screen with the following in the 'Messages' window:

If VLC has a problem with this particular HD clip, can anyone
point me to other HDTV files that I can view in VLC?
