Subject: VLC output problem
hi,
i was eager to try out the VLC application to retrieve material from my home
made dvd(-r)'s but did not succeed. it does play back (with stuttering sound)
but if i want it to make a quicktime or so, it fails.
i'm looking for a tool to convert my personal archieve on dvd back to a format
iMovie and FCP can use. VLC looks like the thing...
can someone please help?

- problem:
when opening a .VOB file from a dvd-r made with iMovie while using the advanced
output option to convert to a quicktime or mpg4, i keep getting errors, avi
also didn't work. the selected .VOB file contains a short clip, about two and a
half minute of footage.
