[vlc] Regional code question.

Hello.

I just downloaded and installed successfully VLC media player version 
0.7.1a on my G4.  I'm running OSX 10.3.  Here's my problem.  When I 
play a DVD which is out of our region (1) in this case region 2, it 
starts to play the movie, sound works, picture is great and after about 
10 seconds of the intro (before it gets to the menu) it stops, the 
apple "reboot ball" comes up and tells me that i need to reboot my 
system.  Why is that and what can I do?
