I can play HDTV streams without any problems with an 1.8GHz G5 with
MacOS 10.3.5 and VLC media player 8.0.0-test2 (indeed, it is the last
nighty build : http://vthr.via.ecp.fr/~videolan/). But the load is up to
3 and VLC use about 75% of CPU.
