[vlc] vlc can not read audio stream

Hi !

I try to watch/stream TV from my hauppauge TV card.
TV (video and sound) works fine in XAWTV, however in VLC I can not get
sound to work.

Could someone please have a look at

where I posted my debug log ?

It seems to have problems with sampling the /dev/dsp device, but I dont
know if it is a problem with vlc or with the boxes sound system.

Any hints welcome,
