    I tried to install VLC 0.8.2 on my Solaris 10 x86 system.

    And I got a lot of problems.

    As the attach files:

        03-nasm-*:           installing NASM compiler(OK)
        04-automake*:        installing Automake v1.9 (OK)
        05-a52-*:            installing a52dec (OK)
        06-libcddb-*:        installing libcddb (OK)
        07-libdvbpsi-*:      installing libdvbpsi (OK)
        08-libdvdcss-*:      installing libdvdcss (OK)
        09-libdvdread-*:     installing libdvdread (OK)
        10-libid3tag-*:      installing libid3tag (OK)
        11-libmad-*:         installing libmad (OK)
        12-libmodplug-*:     installing libmodplug (OK)
        13-libmpeg2dec-*:    installing libmpeg2dec (OK)
        14-libogg-*:         installing libogg (make with GCC v2.95.3
OK)
        15-libspeex-*:       installing libspeex (OK)

        24-lame-*:           installing lame (configure
--with-gtk-prefix=/usr/sfw)
        25-vcdimager-*:      installing vcdimager (need to modify
lib/image_sink.h, libtool)
        26-x264-*:           installing x264 (need to modify configure,
Makefile)

        27x-libebml-*:       problem with libebml (don't know how to
install)
        28x-libmatroska-*:   problem with libmatroska (don't know how to
install)
        29x-libtheora-*:     problem with libtheora (undefined
symbol:vorbis_granule_time)
        30x-portaudio-*:     problem with portaudio
(machine/soundcard.h: no such file or directory)
        31x-faac-*:          problem with faac (lots of errors on
bootstrap, configure and make)
        32x-ffmpeg-*:        problem with ffmpeg
(modified:Makefile,config.mak,libavcodec/faad.c,libavformat/rtp.c)
                                 libavformat/rtp.c:321:error invalid
