The FX series is know to be buggy with the lastest driver the easiest 
way to counter that problem is to go in vlc option. Then oupout module 
and avanced option then chose Windows GDI instead of Direct X. Or you 
can try to uninstal your driver and try the lastest beta driver from 
nvidia..
