All,
New on the list, so let me know if this is a well known limitation. However,
been searchnig the forums and no answer found.
*** Problem ***
Subtitles do not display when viewing MPEG2 files. A "sub-original-fps does
not exist" error is also displayed.
*** Details ***
--- MacOS 10.3.8
--- VLC 0.8.1 (also tested latest developer build with same results)
--- Subtitles work fine when the same (.srt) subtitle file is used with an
equivalent AVI file. (MPEG2 was transcoded from the AVI file using ffmpeg.)
I am more than happy to supply any information required. A number of people
on the forums have the same problems, but no solutions have been found.
Seems like a bug.
Would _really_ appreciate any help! And thanks for a _great_ product!

Ps. I am streaming to an Amino STB via MPEG2 and want the subtitles to
work... Amino does not support MPEG4.
