Dear Sir / Madam,

I'm running Mac OS X 10.2.8 and have tried to install your player with 
partial success. I can follow the install instructions up to the point 
of dragging the VLC icon to a file on the hard-drive but the program 
refuses to open when I click the icon.
When opening media from the finder it gives me the option of opening 
the media with VLC but when I use this option there is no response.
Can you advise me on this problem?
