[vlc] 6 channel with alsa

Hi people

I have been using vlc for a while and i think its great and really simple

especially the dvd menu feature

.. Now i would like to have 6 channel playback with vlc.. im using alsa
1.0.8 and have accomplished this on mplayer

now how can I achieve this feature so i can turn my pc into a home theatre
with the power of vlc
