[vlc] Question regarding VLC:

        Hello guys 
  I would like to ask to any one who may have tried or is using VLC..
  I want to connect a TV Converter to a workstation and TV cable box using windows XP and I want to be able to transmit the signal from  the TV to the pc perhaps more than one pc capture video stream video....
  I would like to know if VLC software would let me do it.
