Wow, ok.  My bad.  I apologize.  There are so many plugins and modules for 
vlc (which is one reason why it rocks) that I missed this live555 thing.

Ok, that explains that!  Thanks for clarifying that for me -- I knew it 
was something I was missing which is why I emailed the mailing list.
