The E3/G703 is the physical interface which the coax connects to for input.
For example..

a.. E1 G.703/704 (2 Mbit/s)
a.. E2 G.703 (8 Mbit/s)
a.. E3 G.703 (34 Mbit/s)
a..

Does your equipment do this?
Thanks
Craig
