[vlc] how do i keep the VLC for Mac screen the size that i set?

I am using VLC for my Mac to watch downloaded video clips. However, when i am trying to watch multiple clips, it keeps retracting to its original size between video clips. I want it to stay at the size that i set at least until i close VLC all together. 
 
Can you help me figure out a way to do this, or let me know if this is even possible with VLC on a Mac?
