[vlc] "Version problem" in version "i"

Dear VLC support team,

There is a security problem in former versions of VLC Media Player as 
reported at

http://secunia.com/advisories/30601/

I have updated to the latest version, in the so-called vlc-0.8.6i-win32.exe,
but the resulting installed program is NOT internally marked as version "i"
but version g and the Secunia scanner thinks that it is an older INsecure
version.  Please fix your code so that it is clear that version "i" is NOT 
an
earlier version, but version "i", unless in fact the new download is still 
the
old insecure version!
