i had before the 1.0.2 too. point is, the movie player totem, mplayer works good, but my beloved vlc does stutter. grrr

because you mentioned it, i had big problems too. x and graphics driver were broken. had to reinstall it to get to the login screen. yes the upgrade was a disaster...

so, do i miss something in the setting of vlc? usage of co processor, output of specific kind or anything else?

possible in relation with a crash?
