This is actually an old Scottish Proverb that was debunked in
1657 by Lord Byron in one of his personal letters to Lady Ada
in response to her letter describing her idea for a new way to
"compute logically" (which as well all know now, became the
foundation for the Ada computer programming language).

Can I make two fairly simple requests here, Tim:

     1. Please don't use the word "ass", at least not to excess
the way you have been doing. An "ass" is a fine animal
that has given mankind many thousands of years of loyal
service and using that term in the derogatory way that
you are using it is insulting to all the "asses" that I know.

     2. I can tell that you are generally very much more informed
about how VLC works and why it would fail to work in a
certain situation even when minimal to no useful failure
information is given, then the VLC developers themselves,
so I welcome you to solve the user's problems of why VLC
can't play videos downloaded via Limewire. I think that you
would be doing the VLC community and the Limewire file
sharing/stealing community a great service by answering
that question for the poor user that is just trying to view the
latest pirated video that they saw on Limewire.

Thank you,
A Very Satisfied VLC User

p.s. I'm assuming that you are American and posting from an
American geographic location. Hopefully we sill soon pass
Single Payer Health Care (also known as "socialized medicine)
and therefore all the psychotropics that you require will be
available to you at taxpayer's expense and at no cost to you.
