[vlc] mpeg2 stream

Hi
I am using for testing vlc - I had on old pc version 0.8.2 that captured mpeg2 (udp stream) perfectly
I have installed the latest version and saw that I am getting jerky video

Is there a 8.0.2 version for ubuntu that I can install? thanks
