[vlc] Great VLC suggestion/question

Hello,
I love VLC !
and use it a lot to quickly review video clips, served over Gigabit Network
from one XP host to another XP client.

Now I'd have one question and one suggestion:

 Why is the jumping to a new place in the clip much faster when doing at 4
or 8times accellerated speed, than at normal speed ?
(Is really much snappier)

And my suggestion: I need to look at a video and then either delete or move
to another folder.
Would be great to have those options via single keystrokes in VLC (at least
the delete one should be easy ?)
